At The Alnwick Garden we want all our visitors to enjoy their time with us. For the safety of all our guests, only assistance dogs are allowed into The Garden. We also strongly advise that you do not bring your pet on hot days as we cannot guarantee parking will be available in suitable shaded areas. ‘Happy Hounds’, located in close proximity to The Garden, offer a day care boarding service to Garden visitors for a small fee, booking is essential: 01665 572425

Registered carers go free at The Alnwick Garden, when purchasing tickets in advance do not include the carer in the number of tickets required, a ticket will be provided on arrival at the entrance gate.

The Treehouse Restaurant is fully accessible and toilets are located discreetly on the restaurant level.

The Alnwick Garden has a limited number of mobility scooters and wheelchairs available to visitors free of charge. It’s advisable to book in advance by calling 01665 511350 and choosing option 1. Scooters are booked for 3hrs and can be collected from either admissions or the priority car park.

All day car parking at The Alnwick Garden is £3 per car. Free car parking is available for registered blue badge holders in the priority car park

Yes, there are lots of benches and lawns on which to enjoy you own picnic. Visitors are asked to take all litter home, or use the bins located in the courtyard.

Visitors can dine at The Treehouse Restaurant, Dishy Fishy and Pavilion Café. For information about our restaurants, please visit their relevant pages in the main menu.

A gift card can be purchased over the phone by calling reception on 01665 511350 and selecting option 1 or purchased in our shop. Gift cards can be used for admission tickets, Friends subscriptions and in The Treehouse Restaurant, Potting Shed or The Retail Shop. They are not accepted in the Pavilion Café or Dishy Fishy restaurant. Gift cards valid for 12 months.

These activities are free with admission to The Alnwick Garden. However, other seasonal activities may carry a small additional charge, the details for which will be shown on the What’s On section of the website.

Alnwick market place is 0.2 miles from The Alnwick Garden, which takes approximately five minutes on foot.

Baby changing stations are installed in all of the accessible toilets throughout The Alnwick Garden. One accessible toilet, located in the retail shop, has an adjustable changing table for older children that require assistance.

We always try to reunite property with its owner. If you are still on site, ask any member of staff for assistance, if not, please call reception on 01665 511350 and select option 1. The Alnwick Garden will hold items for two months. Bank and credit cards are held in a safe for two days and must be claimed in person.
